sounds like you maybe need a tune up, could be a couple spark plugs not firing, or could even be one of the coils, i had a buick lesabre that did the same thing, turned out to be the coil pack 100 dollar part fixed the problem, but i would definitely check plugs/wires first, could also be a plugged cat. converter

WHen things happen on a sudden after some messed around , look about the things they touched. Make sure all connectors are secured in their right place. ANd......sorry for that...but did you actually see them put oil back in the engine, and screw the plug in (in reverse order..lol .)? Just check the dipstick... This happens........
Suspecting water in the fuel is not so weird....it happens too...I got that in my furnace heating oil tank last week, and the burner did exactly what you describe...siphoned the water out, got the flame back.
ONce these simple things are checked and proved wrong, will be time to look for more.

Re: Real Problems With 1995 Bonnieivle Pls Help!!!

OK that looks like very lean mixture: very possibly a problem with MAF sensor but I would not jump on that immediately. I would first check FOR SURE that there is no problem with the engine coolant sensor (why was it changed? is that the 2 wire coolant sensor - the one for the ECM - or the single wire coolant sensor - for the gauge?) . Reason is this: I have modified MY coolant sensor circuit so it tells the computer that engine is warmer than real. This saves A LOT of fuel in cold weather driving, BUT it will not let me start the engine when cold - too lean a mixture - if I do not switch the "correction" out for starting and maybe 30 more seconds. (has no effect once REALLY warmed up) . A short circuit in the coolant temperature sensor circuit would tell the computer that the engine is VERY warm and that would lean the mixture to the point it might not start. OF course, Georgia is not as cold as Quebec , but since someone played around that sensor recently, I'm always borne to think it might have a relation with the problem.
Best: disconnect the coolant sensor and make sure there is no short circuit in the leads and leave it disconnected and try to start: an OPEN circuit tells the computer the engine is VERY cold...thus rich mixture. Tell me the results.
