air filter

ive done the deckplate mod and i want to know which air filter should i get? k&n is out of the picture. is the fram air hog air filter any good? if not which is the best? if its amsoil which one is it?

Amsoil, and AFE(TRD) are both great filters.

Strong vote for Amsoil. I used to always use K&N until I got an Amsoil this month. I actually noticed a difference in the truck and have read scientific tests that do show it improves airflow and hp (on the dyno) compared to stock & K&N.

I have run the TRD filter for a long time in my 4Runner and is an excellent filter element (oiled cotton).
