Exclamation 95 blazer ignition control module

I'm trying to find the icm on my 95 4.3l vortec blazer. I don't really know where to find it I took off the distributor cap an didn't see it. but i didn't know if I had to take out the whole distributor or if the icm is located somewhere else. Thanks

If you have the side post mounted distributor, then you don't have an ignition control moudle per-se. You use a crank sensor and reluctor. The crank sensor comes off the timing cover at about 7 o'clock position, and the reluctor is on the crank inside the timing cover.
