what is this?

I know the the little black dome on my overhead console is for the remote transmitter for my alarm/keyless entry, but does anyone know what the dome on my dash near the defrost vents near windshield is for? and also the blue light sensor next to it on the opposite side? i just noticed them when i took off the black cover for the defrost.

The dome on the defrost vents is also for the keyless entry system. as for the light, I don't know (I never even seen it, I don't think my 94 has it).

its kinda like a blue eye lens underneath the gaurd, on top you cant make out what it is. its just a little opening

I think it's the light sensor in case you put the all the lights in auto on the main switch for your lights, meaning they'll come on automaticlly as it gets darker outside. I'm not sure though.

i think the auto lamp sensor is behind the rear view mirror. Probably a temp sensor for the A/C

I believe the little black dome is a sunload sensor for the atc and the blue one is the photo cell or sensor for the auto head lights
