Unhappy Driveline Vibration

Any suggestions would be great.
I have a bad vibration in the drivetrain of my 94 stang (5 spd). I can feel it at idle and is horrible once I get up to 110 kilometer\hour. Since it does it at idle, it must be something close to the motor and tranny. Has anyone else had this problem?

If your getting this at idle, meaning at a dead stop with the tranny out of gear, then it's not the transmission or the driveshaft or your rear end.

It's gonna be the engine, or your flywheel, or pressure plate.

I am going to bet that your probally have a dead cyclinder, or one that is not firing. You did not meantion of this is a V6 mustang, but considering the age, and the fact that you did not say GT or Cobra, I am going to assume that it is a V6 mustang. I wouldn't rule out a blown head gasket that has killed a spark plug, or even a spun bearring.

Sorry. It is a 5.0 V8. The motor runs fine but I do have some clutch chatter which makes me think that your suggestion of the pressure plate could be the issue. A new centerforce clutch is in the works. I will do the pilot bearing etc...

Centerforce makes a good clutch, althou I am not using Centerforce in my cars because I am running SPEC Clutches in my cars. I mostly run the Spec Stage 2 or Spec Stage 3 clutches. It is always a good idea to swap the pilot bearing when doing the clutch. I also usually replace the clutch cable, but that's over kill for most people.
