95 Maxima Sounds, and problems
I just recently bought a 95 maxima with 120,000 miles on it and these problems have come up on the car:
-Sounds when I turn the steering wheel (clicking noises, like something is loose) -when I accelerate, from 1st gear to second, it jolts(its an automatic) -the security system never sounds, all it does is blink -armrest is loose -carpet is somewhat dirty -windshield wipers are gone -there is also a gap on the drivers side seat, between the seat and backrest. -tires are worn -breaks dont work well at high speeds, it vibrates hard, and is not accurate. I just bought it and I need some help figuring how to deal with it. For the most part the car is driveable and smooth, however, there are the noises and these porblems. WHat exactly can I do to solve these problems

That clicking noise when you turn is either your axel or your CV Joint. I think that it's the CV Joint. The max has over 120, 000 on it and of course those things go on a front wheel drive car. I recommend getting it checked out. As for the transmission, get a Tranny FLUSH. If that doesn't work, well then you might have it checked out, b/c the max isn't known for it's tranny. The arm rest should be tightenable, but I think that it might be broken, and that goes for the seat too. I would have to look at it to make certain. As for the alarm, sounds like a wireing, or remote problem. They cost 90 dollars to replace from the factory. As for the brakes, they are worn out. Either replace them and get new rotors, or turn your rotors. Check out the shocks, b/c they might be original equipment also, and of course new tires always make the ride a little smoother!
Hope this helps! :smoka:
