'98 Classic 4.0 Stalls when turning

1998 Cherokee Classic 4.0L (64,000 mi) stalls when making turns
....only happens when fuel level is about 1/4 or less....happens for both left and right turns.....will NOT happen if I turn "real slow" Just want to know what possible parts I should have ready before I go through the trouble of dropping the tank. Thanks for any advice, Dave

I had the same problem with my 99 4.0 until i decided to drop the tank and replace the fuel pump. Sure as hell solved the problem, it doesnt stall no more. The only problem with this is that the fuel pump will run at 300 bucks!! Good luck

I think I would have to start with fuel pump too. They are costly tho. But if you have a fuel pressure gauge. You can hook it up and prop on windshield and go drive it and see if pressure drops off during turns.
