2000 Intrepid - Instrument panel / dash panel fire

I had a fuss panel fire and bruned the - Dash Panel - Main Wiring Harness - P04759892AB in my 2000 Intrepid. The wiring harness is ruined. As is the fuss panel etc. etc.

I need a replacement wiring harness complete and am unable to find the proper part number at an auto wrecker. Does anyone know if I can substitue an alternate wiring harness for the part number P04759892AB that came in the car. The car has a 2.7 litre engine and standard automatic transmission. It has a standard a-m / f-m stereo cassette radio and a "KEYLESS - ENTRY" system. It has PSeat AND PMirrors and most other power options.

The part number for this wiring harness is at the passenger side end of the dash panel behind the right hand footwell kickpanel below the glove box door. The kick panel must be removed (two long phillips headed screws) in order to check the loom part number. The part number is on a piece of white plasticized paper and taped to the wiring harness . It may be necessary to pull the harness down a bit from the dash at the right hand "A - pillar" to allow you to read the part number. There are several hardshell connectors at the end of the wiring harness that go through the "A- pillar" and power the power windows and door locks etc. inside the door. The part numbere tag with P04759892AB is just above these white hardshell connectors.

Can anyone tell me what the interchangability is with these wiring harnesses.

I find a number of them in wrecking yards with "AC" at the end of the part number instead of "AB" I can not determine what the difference is in these two wiring harnesses. Can anyone tell me what the differences are and if the differences matter.

Does anone have a P04759892AB wiring harness they want to sell?

Can anyone tell me where I can get a good wiring diagram for an Intrepid - "ONLINE" or if not online the name of a good servive manual for a 2000 Intrepid wiring diagram.

If you found a harness 4759892ac it will work as the original p/n4759892ab superseds to p/n 4759892ac same part and this info comes right from chrysler parts or just call your dealer and give them p/n and they will confirm this
