Service engine light after driving through water
Hi--We had a huge storm yesterday that flooded the whole town, and I had to drive my car through standing water about a foot deep to avoid getting stranded. My car made it through ok, but several hours later (after the rain had stopped) the service engine soon light came on. My car otherwise runs fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be, and what I should do to get it fixed? Thanks for your help!

Re: Service engine light after driving through water
you probably got the wires wet and either its a sensor code or a ignition code. I would get it scanned if you get a chance. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
