Engine shut off

I was pulling out of a parking lot yesterday and turned on my lights and my truck just died.I tried to start it again and nothing. My lights ,horn, wipers, etc. nothing would come on.This has happened at least 4 times over the past 6 months. It all happened when tunning on the lights everytime. I'll wait about 5 minutes and then it would start. I've checked out the the battery,starter,solenoid,and my connections.all are ok. Please help with any info.

check all of the engine grounds , it sounds like something is missing a ground and using the headlights as a ground path. remember all electronics path to ground so when you put power to the lights something loses ground and shuts off .
