fck the p28 ecu if he's goin to convert to obd1 trust me just tell him do a mfi swap pm6 ecu an apex' vtec controler i know from experiance baught a p28 converted an my friend who just did a vtec controler smoked me so i sold everything an just did what he did an saved more money

well thing is he already has his sohc vtec in car and running all he needs for the vtec to work he told me is a p28 ecu and no other ecu gonna work with his setup....i not familiar with d-series motors..i stick to b series after i blew up 6 d16 blocks...lol

Well if you had chipped the P28 it would run a hell of a lot better than the apexi controller/pm6 anyday. The P28 is made for the SOCH Vtec motor and increasing the map at certian points can only increase it preformance what do you think the Apexi is doing to the PM6? well what ever I say stick to the P28 for OBD1 conversions.

tell your friend to keep his eye out for 92-95 P06 DX/LX ECU. they can be converted to P28...
