3rd trani

i have a 2000 new body stile tahoe and iam on my 3rd transmission the st went out at 45000 miles and just went out again recently at 73000 miles i was wondering if it could be because of the programer. i don't think it would be because of the lift and tires cause there not that big

hey dont feel bad ....im on my 3rd too the original went out at 63000 and the warrenty went out at 60000 my 2nd at 110000 and my 3rd is going strong at present time currently 116000....and i had to pay for all of the trani's none were warrentied....i guess they're known for this problem yet were still fools for buyin them

IF YOU HAVE THE ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION HAVING NEW ONE PUT IN ARE GETTING THEM OUT OF THE JUNK YARD YOU WILL KEEP HAVEING THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY HAVE CHEAP SUNPLATES IN THEM AND THEY BRAKE. HAVING YOUR TRANMISSION REBUILD THEY WILL PUT THE BETTER PLATE IN AND THE PROBLEM IS FIXED.
