head light

it's an infinity J30 '95, I got problem, when I turn head light on, the bright light also turn on and when I step on the brake with this condition the bright light turns off but got the electrical warning on....moving the dim-bright handle does not change condition...help me please

Bright light? All lights I've got are bright. Maybe High Beam?

Nissan typical fault is light switch burned contacts. They may be cleaned, but will not last long. If u keep the car, verify the fault, buy new sw.

ah yes the high beam.... thank you for the reply ...but there is also a strange clicking sound from the front of driver seat. Is it related to that?

Once heard of that issue. That was the cabin cooling air flap motor and/or its position sw malfunction, behind glove box. Sorry, not possible to hear that online... Play with u climate control, quite possibly the sound changes - if that is the culprit.

Btw. Try finding new aftermarket light sw, (the ones in scrapyard might already be going bad.) Adding relays will get you bright lights, and also the light switch will never again burn. If you clean your switch, add relays, maybe thats all what is needed.
