Get in this order
1. air lid
2. electric cutout(you can open/close it while driving the car)
3. subframes
4. lower control arms
5. panhard rod bar
6. strut tower brace.

You can install 1, 4,5,6 easy if you have any mechanical skills at all. the cutout you'll need welded on/in as well as the subframes(unless you go SLP boltons but they're very pricey for subframes).

True duals aren't really needed and there are other things that will make your car move much quicker then true duals while hooking up(the important thing) and you'll love how your car handles then. If you need a place to buy these parts, let me know [email protected]. Congrads on your purchase and have fun

Re: Help Me Spend My Money!!!!!!

First off, learn how to turn off CAPS lock.....

$1700.....That is about $1300 short of what I spent to get to 380 RWHP. $400-500 more for tune, and you are at 400RWHP.

I really haven't started on suspension yet. I have a Spohn PanHard bar, SLP strut tower brace, and SLP bolt-in subframe connectors chassis/suspension wise. Picked the PHB and STB up used. Paid a little more for the bolt-in subframe connectors, wanted the diamond style, and wanted them to be easy to move in case low exhaust got in the way. Never did get in the way though.

Anyways, you have the advantage of starting off with the LS6 intake, a $400+ upgrade to the 98-00's. But you also have a slightly smaller cam. I mean slightly.

To start off.....
Airbox lid. I went SLP. $100
Cat-back. I went SLP Loudmouth. I have since removed that from my car. Went to Magnaflow. $400.
Headers and Y-pipe. I went SLP longtubes because they had a special. Well, those are coming off as well. I would recommend Jet-Hot or Pacesetters. $600
Subframe connectors. BMR, SLP, Spohn....$150-200
Cutouts are cheap. But it depends on what you want from the car. If you go with a good cat-back then you don't need cutouts. If you leave the stock exhaust up, and just go with headers and a cutout, you will be leaving the cutouts open all the time. $35 a cutout plus install. Electric ones run more like $160 each.
I upgraded my MAF. DO NOT do this. Not needed.
At this point, upgrade the lower control arms, and that should be about all your money. Please send me the leftover.

Re: Help Me Spend My Money!!!!!!

Flowmasters don't give the power, and they drone badly.
I recommend Magnaflow. Very clean sound at idle, but WOT it sounds GREAT!!
Give this a listen....not my car, but a good idea of how it sounds. I love this clip, it sold me on Magnaflow.
Watch Me!!

Do you plan on spending more money in the long run, stuff like heads, cam, internal work??
