2nd gen speaker wire setup help

Im trying to change my factory wiring to some high quality, well insulated wiring. I looked at all the colored wires, but many are the same, and Im quite lost.

Does anyone know how the speakers are wired to each other? There are six total. Im pretty sure that the midrange in door speakers are wired with the tweeters, or the 6x9s, but maybe not?

Re: 2nd gen speaker wire setup help

i know that on my car the tweeters and door speakers are on the same channel, the stock tweeters have bass blockers on them also.

If you wanted to seperate the tweeters from the doors and then the 6X9s you would be better off splitting those up into seperate channels with an amp. not to my knowledge there isnt a 6channel car stereo on the market, there are 5.1 and 6.1 channel amps. Thats if you want to have complete seperation.

When i installed my car audio i thought about going the same route as you with my component set, but i didnt because the component set completely bypasses the stock wires except for those in the doors, and they hook up to nice cross overs.

I dont know if this helps any but good luck.
