Re: vibrations from tailgate with sub!

you can adjust the latch in the back. I have heard people talk about turning some kinda of rubber things on the latch but i am not sure what they are talking about but you can do it that way, but all i did was take off the bottom part of the latch and reemed out the holes to where i could adjust it and when i got it where i wanted i tac welded the washers i used to the latch so it wouldn't move and i did that for ever ago and havn't had a prob since, but i am sure there are easier way of doin it but it worked and it still works

Re: vibrations from tailgate with sub!

on the hatch door there are these little rubber bumper things towards the bottom of the hatch door. they're there pretty much to adjust how the door alligns with the rest of the body of the car, as in how far in it goes or how far out it sticks out when closed. turn these little bumpers counter-clockwise and you'll see that they come out farther and then when you closed the hatch, i'm almost certain it won't rattle. this has been my vibration problem ever since someone else posted something about this not too long ago.

If that doesn't work i know all of my friends with systems use dyno-mat. You can buy it at most car audio stores. It's a sticky pad or layer that absorbs vibrations.
