Water leak advice

Hi all, new here.

I did a search but did not find anything specific to my problem

It is a '97 626 that has developed a water leak into the trunk area.

I have it pinpointed to what I feel is the weather stripping on the passenger side lower section of the body.

But the weaterstripping looks fine. I have refreshed it with silicone, but not much help.

Anyone been through this and can lend advice?
