Nos in a Automatic

Hey guys,

Ok well we all know how hard it is to race wit an automatic tansmission, but I was wondering is it possible to put NOS in an automatic or do you need a 5-speed to run NOS? This question isnt directed towards a specific car but to all cars in general. Any help with this is greatly appreciated and if any one has done or knows some one who has put nos in a automatic please let me know.

Thanks guys

Re: Nos in a Automatic

I seriously hope you are joking.

What is wrong with NX or other nitrous brands?

Why is an auto hard to race?

PLENTY of people have run nitrous on autos.

Re: Nos in a Automatic

An auto involves putting your foot to the floor and going...

I guess I see how that would be hard to race, thanks for opening my eyes to that, I suppose it would be pretty hard to make easy to race as well...

hmmmmm....

And, NOS can be put on an auto, but why would you want to...i mean, they are hard to drive!

Re: Nos in a Automatic

NOS???

You mean Nitrous? I hate people who drive around... "yeah I got NOS," and it turns out to be Venom or NX or some other crap. Call it nitrous or NO2

Re: Nos in a Automatic

Re: Nos in a Automatic

most of the top drag cars are automatics. stock for stock a manual will win but once they are both modded the auto will kick ass.

yes you can run n2o on any car you want auto or manual.

97, your last two comments were poetic.

And as has already been stated, you can run nitrous on an auto. Many of the quickest dsms on the strip are autos.

Outside of the theoretical stuff, think about whether or not it's a good idea for You to run nitrous. Being borne of the bread and butter of FandF doesn't lead me to believe this would be a good idea for you. Assuming you own a dsm and didn't come on this forum for sake of Brian O'Connor having an Eclipse, look at a suggested upgrade paths (Nitrous requires supporting mods). www.dsmtuners.com has one. Most vendors do, too.
