Question Oil pan Change on 2000 Ford Ranger

I own a 2.5 L 4 cyl. 2000 Ranger. The Oil pan cracked along the plug. I need help finding a pan to fit. What model years are compatible? Also what is involved in the change? (Ex: Does the engine have to be pulled?,Etc.) Thanks in advance for any help.

I should be a pretty easy job. There is plenty of room around & under the 4cyl rangers. I'm not sure if the 2.3/2.5L share the same oil pan, but I'm guessing you will need a 1998-2001 ranger 2.5L oil pan. Did it crack from the oil pan drain bolt being over tightened?

G/luck
