Angry 88 k5 starting problems

i have an 88 k5 blazer with a throttle body injected 350..
it just cranks and cranks but wont start i have checked all of the plugs and i know the battery is charged....i got it to start for about 5-10 seconds with starting fluid then it quit.... i think it might be a ground problem or a bad fuel pump or filter im not sure. any and all advice would be appreciated

first off, glad to hear of another full size on this board. As far as your problem you can start by getting as close to the gas tank as possible and have a friend turn the key to the on position and if you hear the pump prime then you may cross one off the list but not deffinitly. The best way to check the fuel system at this point is to check the fuel pressure.

the fuel pump isn't working and im not sure what else it could be besides a bad wire somewhere or a bad fuel pump.

Re: 88 k5 starting problems

you can use a test light to determine if power is going to the pump
