I have a 99 Galant, with the Infinity Air speaker system in it, and apparently for new cd deck and subwoofer install i have to bypass the amp because they don't make a wire harness for it. Have been looking for many days for some kind of diagram or explanation on how to do this. PLEASE HELP!
thanks. |

Re: Wiring for cd deck install needed for amp bypass!
Well, I don't do much Mitsus anymore. I did do an Eclipse last summer. I found the amp under the seat. I found the speaker wire from the stereo going into the amp. I then tested wiring for the speaker wires going to the speakers and then just wired around it.

Re: Wiring for cd deck install needed for amp bypass!
i know exactly where the audio input is on the amp, im pretty sure how to hook it up, i was just wondering if anybody had the exact set up of which wire goes to which speaker, so i didn't have to do trial apon trial. also i think you can do it for alot cheaper if you go to a local car audio store, and buy a harness for the wires coming out of the amp, and figure out the wiring yourself....
my father is helping me with that job, so i'll be saving about 65 bucks on the wire bypass.
