Re: question about mufflers

I have a magnaflow exaust on my 99 sunfire. I think that it is not that loud and that is sounds good. It will run you about 450 or less, i believe.

I was thinking more about just getting the muffler. I already have a 2.5 inch custom bent exhaust just wanted to change the muffler. Right now I have a megan racing muffler from ebay.

Re: question about mufflers

i got the magnaflow exhaust and crome tip put on for $150 new and it sounds good. a nice hum when you drive it around. and a pretty loud sound when you drop a gear and punch it. i have a 90 cavalier i thinks there a good choice. shop around your local muffler shops and find the best price

Re: question about mufflers

I got my magnaflow welded on and I like the sound. Its not very loud at idle or just driving around but when you hit the gas hard it sounds great. Its very raspyl. Would a resonator fix that.

no but my buddy is running a flowmaster on his sonoma and it sounds bad as hell. It gives off the low girgle pops when you let off the gas. it's pretty sweet
