Question hood pin installation??

maybe somebody can help me out with this.... it seems pretty striaght forward but if i know anything about cars its that nothing is straightforward... so... i drive a '90 GSX... same as VR-4 but N/A.... ant hints?? any help would be greatly appreciated! why dont these fucking things come with instructions???? hood pins are Mr. Gasket #1016

Well, they were made for race cars, and race cars have custom brackets made that connect them to 2 bars that surround the engine in a race car.

im not ignorant.
and after looking at my car, i figured out that my drill with a half inch bit will make quick work of it.

all i was saying was that normally people make brackets to connect the hood pins to. I dont get how thats a "Smart-ass reply"
