what the hell does helical limited-slip mean? i dont know anything about cars

A helical LSD uses gears to activate as opposed to a viscous LSD. It offers better reaction to lock up quicker. Viscous coupling requires higher rpm to lock up. Here, check this out:http://www.howstuffworks.com/differential7.htm
