serpentine belt replacement

i have a 97 caravan and need to replace the serpentine belt.as far as i can see theres no way to do this unless i take the other belt off.is this right?if this is right how do i go about taking the other belt off?

I replaced mine (1999 2.4L engine). It was easy. Autozone.com has the instruction online. Only takes about 1 hour.

i have a 3.0 engine.i will go to autozone.com and take a look thank you for the help

Are you talking about the timing belt or serpentine belt?
If its the timing belt, it'll take more than an hour. More like a day.
If its the serpentine belt, it'll take around 15 minutes.

Next time it will take me probably just 15 minutes. But I was very careful on my first. But hopefully I do not have to do it again because I always sell a vehicle when it is around 10 years old.
