O2 sensor
hey i have a 92 oldsmobile eighty eight royalle and im trying to chance my o2 sensor due to bad gas milage if thats not it do any of you have an idea on what sensor could be giving me the bad gas miliage i just changed the plugs and wires + altinator and air filter recenty. Well my other question is how he heck do i get the old o2 sensor out due to its position in the back of the engine?

is your service engine soon light on? if it is you should either have it scanned or use the old paper clip trick and get the codes out but if you light isn't on when was the last time you replaced your plugs and wires you'd be surprised at how much worn plugs and weak wires can hinder your milage

i replaced them 2 months ago
and i have a feeling its my o2 sensor because i have never changed it |

Okay i chanced my o2 sensor there was a special socket i needed which i bought at sears it was something like 9.99 and i used that and the ratchet and extention to get down in there and it took about 5 minutes if anyone has any questions on how to do it just send me a message
also my car gets better gas milage now |
