Wakefield on tuesday the 2nd.

I'm going down to wakefield park on tuesday, just putting up an open invite to any of the people here to come on down!!!
It's an open day, it costs $95, u can hire a helmet for $45, or bring your own.

Don't you need to buy a wakefield licence as well? AS I recollect, you need a CAMS or Wakefield licence to run there (both can be bought). Maybe it's just for club events.

I would go, but it's Tuesday = work

seriously...

it is really good.... you should go one day.
you really get to know your cars' handling limits inside-out.

now.... i need coil overs :P
i couldn't keep up with my friends civic with coil overs

should see the video replay of us duelling it out... his car turns in flat as a tack, my car cas body roll in extremis.
it's just not fair!

I'll go next time I'm free

yes, would be good.

Like last night driving home....some shitty old bomb, which was turbocharged..being showoff on the way home....get to a roundabout, and I totally lose him, cause his car doesn't handle and he had to slow down heaps

Hmmm...ok video night

Weren't you thinking suspension set up?

Try dropping a bigger rear sway bar on it first. A 20-22mm will kill most body roll rather than making the springs do all the work. It's also a lot cheaper than a full suspension upgrade.

I have the same issue since I raised the height on my Civic - it has progressive rate springs which is a combo of comfort and handling, but it takes pressure on the springs before they begin to bite and the car digs into a corner.

yep was thinking of that setanta... but i'll go for the works i think.

it's just that bodyroll is only half the problem on my car... the other big issue is silly dive and squat.
