anyone put ground effects on a base model?

I have an '85 camaro and have bought a set of factory IROC ground effects. I've got a lot of holes to drill and some brackets to make and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or knows of a template or something to get the holes in the right places. thanks in advance

Get some strips of plexiglass or clear lexan and go to your local junkyard. Pull the ground effects off of a car there and use it as a guide to make your own templates.
