89 S-10 Blazer Fuel Injection Problems
Canadian
89 S-10 Blazer 4.3 V-6 Throtle Body Injection I am am getting trouble codes 32 & 42 on my check engine light. These 2 numbers as far as i have been able to research these represent the EGR and the HEI module. Both have been replaced yet I continue to get these errors. Resulting in very rich fuel mixture. There is sometimes way too much fuel being injected and causing the engine to run hot. I have checked everything I can think of. All wires look fine and so on. Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem? |

Re: 89 S-10 Blazer Fuel Injection Problems
check your timing with the brown and beige timing wire disconnected from the PCM under the glove box.

Re: 89 S-10 Blazer Fuel Injection Problems
timing is good, has even been check by people at 2 different automotive shops.
this problem caused a motor to go bad on my friend, i bought the blazer from him and put a motor from the junk yard in. Worked decent for a while, then startd dumping in more and more fuel. Overheated that motor too many times and got lucky the the Salvage yard warrantied the motor and paid a shop to put it in. Just got it back today, drove it to work, then on the way home from work check engine light came on and gave me the same 2 trecherous codes i have gotten on 3 different engines. 32 & 42 |
