Steering

Hey everybody

My friend keeps complaing and complaining about my 1995 B-2500 van having a lot of play in the steering to the point that it is "dangerous" (Although that's untrue, as I can drive it just fine)

I was wondering, is it normal for big van's to have a bit of play in there steering? I figured it was as they are not tuned for sports driving or anything, and the power steering is consideribly more powerful then that of a car.

Thanks!

Not sure, but my father had a 1990 Ram Van- 8 cylinder (which he sold to my sister in law) that had a lot more play (felt looser) than my 1994 Ram 250 (6 cylinder.) I don't like driving their van either so I can sympathize with your friend.
