NEW drawings

top one is DUH an SLR and the bottom one is DUH a Mustang with the NEW Shelby Gt500 front end junk

i spent about 45 min. on the SLR and when i was done i realized since i wasn't seeing it straight on (i slouch in my chair) i had drawn it so it looks like it smashed into a rubber tree (or a regular tree and the car is rubber) and the mustang took 20 min.

P.S. Forgive the scanner i woke it from a long slumber and it decieded to scan all weird and stuff the mustang is wayyyy smashed and they are both amazingly dark... about 87435901765098416793814769381670938541679038417691 0384679103867091368790<< that much darker

Re: NEW drawings

Impressive dawings, but try to lower the wheelbase of the SLR and also the height of the bumper And on the Stang' the stripes should be parallel to the hood outline, but they are both cool cars. Btw, I like the dark look!!

that's about how dark they usually are
oh and the scanner seems to have warped the mustang alot, on the actual drawing they are parallel. Next week i'll try to get some better scans or get some photo's of these so you can see what they really look like thanks for the crit though

Re: NEW drawings

Nice drawings lostprophets. You're improving alot, but your proportions are still a bit off. On the SLR, the hood should be longer and should slope downwards more, and the cockpit area should be positioned further back. On the stang, the hood coops are off-center. Otherwise, besides some very minor stuff, everything looks great. Awesome job with shading and rendering. Keep it up!

Re: NEW drawings

what the others have already said.

the "dark" look is not really dark: it is normal contrast and nice. your proportions are a bit funky. otherwise, you draw really well. and you have evidence of a style emerging.

make a date with yourself to begin the long walk observing reflections on metal and glass.
