wizaired

I have a buddy that works for a sheetmetal place and he said that he would build me a cold air box if i could get dimensions. This is prolly a dumb question but does anyone have dimensions for the wizared cold air box. I dont really wanna spend a trillion dollars on a box that i can have made for me for 20 bucks. If not im just going buy the wizaired box i hear its the best one out next to a fenderwell system. Let me know thanks.

OK, here we go again.
I use the Thrasher. Found it to be the best. But, we all have the one we like.
Don't have the dimensions for the Wizaired. I wouldn't use it. But there's a couple around here that do.
Good luck

I think it's the flex tubing to start with. Makes it look cheap.
All the good name CIA will do the job. All you have left is the looks.
Which ever one you like the looks of, buy it.

Hey Kid,

Just curious about this, but what about the the Data that the Wizaird put up over the MSP? It seems that the Wizaird provided cooler air and that efficiency of the engine overall was increased.

Also, I read a lot of places where the cold-air boxes don't fit flush with certain yr GP's, yet the Wizaird said it does, and the pictures showed it...

I'm just curious about this, i tend to look at hard data and function more than looks.

I have the Thrasher also and have no complaints. I bought it before the WizAir existed. The thrasher is nice because it looks great, installs easily, and removes easily (for filter and PCM service).

According to most of the articles I've read, the WizAir is more efficient. The box seals against the chasis, effectively preventing any under-hood air from entering the intake air charge. The interior of the box is also insulated. The tube from the box to the TB is insulated with thermal wrap.

This is all great......but if you aren't trying to run a 12 second quarter mile, pick what you like best. The WizAir is considerably more expensive than all other CAIs on the market.

Personally, I don't like the FWIs. Something about bending fender supports out of the way.............nope, I ain't doin' it!

I tried the FWI intake setup already but had to back to the factor box because i live in michigan the filter kept getting completly soaked with water. So i have no choice but to go with a taditional CAI. Still havent found anyone with dimensions for the wizaired yet still looking.
