Headlights

Hey guys, i currently own a '97 mali and was wondering something, the headlights, is it at all possible to turn them off? I mean all the way off, and not just down the the orange lights? If not, is it illegal to install my own little switch so i can cut all power to the lights? does anyone see any potential problems with doing this? what wires would i have to run through the switch to cut power? thanks in advance. Peace

Drl

Hey man,
There was an earlier thread about (DLR) Daytime Running Lights, (I my self would not disconnect them) but as I understand it from the chevy stealership there is a dedicated fuse for them.

the only way i've been able to do it is by turning the car off, removing the keys, putting the parking brake on, then reinserting keys. huge hassle . i hate my life.
