GOOD FRIDAY......Arrived in the City of Snails(A.K.A Auckland) late Friday afternoon,checked into the motel and decided to stretch my legs after a long drive.....the gas station around the corner on Jervois Road looks good for a cold drink and a Perky Nana[:finger: ].

Walking up the street I hear the unmistakeable sound of a GTS-4 taking off from the lights behind me.As he blew through the gearbox,I turned,but already he was streaking past,a crazed gleam in his eye and a dangerous twitch in his shifting arm........

The dark glasses seemed familiar,and the personalised plate confirmed my suspicions...I raised a hand to wave,but the Skyline was already little more than a dot on the Ponsonby horizon......

Shame I got so close to a fellow AF member without getting the chance to say g'day!and only 5 minutes after hitting town too!

so....did he see me?

Sounds like he was more worried about controlling his car.
But it goes to show that NZ isnt nearly as big as you think it is.

Now, you were here on Friday and you never sent me an email?
