leaky water pump???
Recently I added some radiator fluid because I noticed it was low. I had to replace around 3 qts. . When I did this I noticed Fluid coming from somewhere around my water pump,(don't know exactly where do to it being so hard to really see the whole pump). So I monitored this for the last two days and as it got 3 qts. low again it stopped. Is this a bad pump or what? and why did it stop leaking when it ran low again?

Re: leaky water pump???
The water pump has a weep hole that will leak to let you know that it is time to replace the pump.

Re: leaky water pump???
yeah, i just replaced mine too, actually not that big of deal, air box, fan shoud, fan, and water pump, 4 bolts holdin it in. almost an easy fix, and the water pump being $47 from autozone was not too bad either!

Re: Re: Re: leaky water pump???
Lack of pressure. Mine started doing that when it was time 2 replace it. I got my water pump with a gasket for 25 bucks at Advance auto parts. took me about 30 minutes do replace. Make sure you have a drain pan and a couple gallons of coolant your gonna loose all your coolant. Infact I drained my radiator before i took of the water pump that will save you alot of drain time. good luck
