rough idle and dies in morining only

hi

i have a unique problem, in the morning when i start the car, it starts fine but after a maybe like 3-4 minutes when the temperature gauge starts to move it idles very badly ,sometimes it somehow keeps running , sometimes it stops.

but this problem exist only in the mornig, once i have started it up and kept it running for 5 minutes and then its acts normal throughout the day, but same problem exists next morning. i live in a cold place i.e iowa, and this happens more and more the more colder it is. so now as its getting spring, it hardly idles badly.

i talked to a mechanic and he sia maybe its the coolant sensor, also i have replaced the >>>>>> GREAT DEXCOOL <<<<<< with the conventional green stuff. and this problem started when i got that.

but i am scared to start my car and leave in the morning, i start it up when i wake up and give it 30-40 minutes after first start. i dont know what would happen if i get into an emergency.
