B16 dizzy

ok so i got a dizzy cap and rotor for a del sol vtec.....it looks the same as the one the engine came with (B16a1) except it looks like its for a seperate coil? theres no "pin" on the inside and has a connection ont he outside. i was wondering if theres a different cap i could get for my engine or should i go with msd ignition? i dont get dizzys and coils and stuff so any info would help thanks.

ps how much does msd cost? which one best for my engine?

Re: B16 dizzy

Msd isnt needed unless your engine is heavily modified. and the plug is just so you can convert your dizzy to MSD if you choose, u dont need it, just plug it.
