Question Question about coilovers

Can somebody please help me out? I bought a set of Dropzone Adjustable coilovers but when driving, the car bounces and every big bump i hit makes this hitting sound. I was wondering if I put new struts, would that make any difference in the way it rides? If not, can anybody tell me what to do to make it ride smooth. Thanks.

Re: Question about coilovers

well yes and no. replacing the shocks and struts will make it stop bouncing. the reason you are bouncing is b/c your struts are blown. as for a more comfortable ride, you are shit-outta-luck. one disadvantage to coilovers are the horrible ride.

Re: Question about coilovers

I beleive that the reason why your experiencing a rough ride is that you bough the crappiest coilovers for our cars.

Re: Question about coilovers

yup, i bought dropzone coilovers from ebay when I was first looking for springs. When installing them, the front ones went on fine but the rear didnt even fit and the rear springs were as low as can be. The guy even said the ride was going to be crappy. I still have them and trying to sell them with no luck. oh well, its the only way you learn!

Re: Question about coilovers

if you want coilovers, get ground control because they are the best coilovers (use eibach springs). you can still get lowering springs and overall, the eibach ones are the best springs to get. An upgraded shock/strut package could be useful, (go with the kyb agx). I'm getting ready to order my agx very soon. After all this, and dont forget your rear camber kit, your ride will be better.
