Saturn still running rich and dying

I posted about a week ago with the problem of my Saturn SL2 running rich and dying. I followed advice and replaced the ects, which was definitely cracked, and then reset the computer, but I still have not seen a change. The car is not starting at all, despite putting new spark plugs in to replace the ones that were horribly fouled from running rich. Does anyone know the firing order from the coils? I'm pretty confident that I replaced them in the right order when I changed the coils, but it would just be an easy thing to check. Additionally, is there an easy way to drain the gas tank on Saturns? I still need to check my fuel to see if I somehow got some bad gas. Thanks for any help or thoughts.

Re: Saturn still running rich and dying

on the block its 1 -2 -3 -4, on the coils its 4 -1 -2 -3.

try starting at partial throttle.

and i hope you didn't put platium plugs in...

i have a theory for a easy fuel tank drain i going to be working on in the next few days(need a little money to buy the parts) if it works i'll post the details.

thanks....keep me posted on the fuel tank drain...I ended up buying a little pump that you chuck in a drill to siphon the tank off to check the gas at least. If I see water, then I'll worry about pulling the tank and draining it.
