My car needs the timing belt to be changed soon. And I have a 1989 Civic Dx hatchback. Do you guys have any idea how much this would cost if I had a Honda Shop do it.

Re: In need of Timing belt
u shouldnt play with waiting for it
get a quote from a honda dealer in your area and work from there. but just save some pennies and do it yourself

well not everyone has the tools..or the desire to work on their own vehichles.
It shouldn't be to much if you wanna have a dealer do it for you. My moms accord was like 195 or something I think when she got the belt changed at honda. edit: that was with the cost of the belt which was like around 35 bucks I think.
