I need input from the Prelude community, especially H23ers

So here's my situation, I ordered camshafts for my H23 from a company, and they accidentilly sent me the wrongs cams. They said I could send them back and they would send the correct ones. The problem is, the first time it took them 2-3 months to get here because they are custom made. I paid about $650 for them (ouch!). Now it's almost April and my car is apart in the garage, and I'm gonna need it ASAP (summer, summer job, etc.) and can't wait another 3 months for the correct ones. So here was my idea. I would buy Crower H23 cams and put them in now, and when the company sent me my custom cams back, I would sell them, either here, or on ebay. Now the REAL problem of course is money. Being a college student, this project is really costing a lot of money, money that I don't have to be spending on this. I need to know if I could get $400-500 for my custom camshafts or how much do you think I could get? Thanks for help, I'm really stressed out over this sh*t.

KMS (Honda-performance.com) Camshafts, Valve springs, and Retainers
Skunk2 adjustable cam gears

Wish me luck on this project, something always seems to go wrong.

I'd just ask the company if they could rush you a set to use in the mean time.. Explain your situation. The company might ship you a premade pair just to save their reputation. You could send those back, and they could regrind them or clean them up and sell them again..

Haha, sounds nice I know, but this company is very unreasonable and has terrible customer service. That's another whole story though. The parts seem quality, just the service sucks. Basically they don't care about their customers at all, which to me, should mean they're not allowed to BE a business. Thanks for your input though.

What company is it, so none of us go through that misfortune?

Very true, avoid KMS Engines, www.honda-performance.com. The service is truly terrible, treat their customers like sh#t.
