Swap pics so far

Well here are some pics of my progress, hope you enjoy!!

Here is my obd jumper harness and how i ran the wires thru the fire wall and the molenex connector i used.

Here is my injector wiring, i already had mpfi, just had to change out the plugs to the right place

This is while i was prepping the motor. Gaskets, plugs, thermo, ect, ect...

This is a before and after cleaning or the tranny, well, after before i should say. it needed it bad!

Here she is in the car. I still have a little wiring to do on the O2 sensor. hook up shift linkage, fuel, various plugs, ect, just need to hook it all up

Here is what i am sporting in the hatch for tunes. I like my music clean and clear. All together there are a total for 14 speaker in the car if you could the ones in the box too, i also have tweaters up front and then Explode speakers in all the factory locations too. All pushed w/ two amps. The sony explode 750 watt or so amp, can't remember exactly for the lows, and a 550watt kenwood amp for the mids and highs. It's pretty liud in that little car when ya crank it up.

Well, thats all i have for now, happy viewing, and if anyone can help with this darn, o2 sensor wiring it would be apreciated.

Re: Swap pics so far

I actually put a piece of wood that sticks down to the bottom of the spare tire tub that is attatched to the box and it helps quite a bit but it has turned over on me. I have thought about putting a rear strut bar to keep it from falling into something if i have stuff in the back. I'll post some links so maybe you can see them better but give me a min

Re: Swap pics so far

they are comp series, so they rock pretty good. I put some jl's to shame before. You'd have to hear it before you make that judgement, it's all in how you set it up too

Re: Swap pics so far

did you get the comp series or just the regular xplodes, cause the regular ones sound like crap. There is a much bigger magnet on the back compared to the ones you get at wal mart and stuff and teh outer ring is a different kind of material, almost like a real stiff rubber rather than the flimsy stuff that is on the ones from wall mart or circuit city. You can get the comps thru circuit city or best buy but they have to order them, they usually don't have them in stock unless someone has ordered some and never picked them up.

Re: Swap pics so far

man like i said you'd have to hear it to make that judgement. if set up mids, highs, and balance everything out w/ resistors and what not, and by the way i am running two amps, the sony 750 and a kenwood 350 so i have plenty of power to push them, i am about to upgrade to the 12" subs as soon as i can build the box for them. Now if i was wanting to go to bass comps. then yea i might want something different, but i like my sound crisp and clear with a good hit w/ it. If you get too much bass things just start getting distorted with any system unless you set it up right. I have had many people that can't believe the sound that comes out of that car. You can hear me from close to a mile and a half away at least i know of and it's great for feild party's too as long as you get someone to bring gas so you don't run out cause it kills my battery in about 15 min if i don't have the car running, and if i have it cranked up at night my headlights can flicker w/ the bass if i want to turn it up that high but since it's hard on teh alternator i usually keep it turned down at night. But you'd be suprised i guarntee if you heard it.
