Re: toss me some ideas

H & R springs....... I personally don't mess with the Eibachs because they have been too inconsistant. I have had several prokits that came out to be lower than the sportlines. It should have been the other way around.

im looking for a really good lowering spring (considered eibachs) that performs really well. most springs only lower 1"-1.5" and i have low profiles and they still wont look so hot. Im lookin for around 2.5"-3" with a lot of performance. any ideas?

That's way too low for handling performance. 2.25inches max for handling but that's pushing it. I am at 2.25" and I am actually going to raise my car by 1/2inch.

Also have you considered getting spacers, or wider rims?

this is 17x9 rims

Here is a pic of 18x9's and 18x10.5's
The rim below that is on the mustang that you see is 18x9 with 285/30R18Rims.

Well on my avatar is my car and i have 17X8 cobra r's and low profile tires 225/40s (i know thats kinda small) i like the low profile look on the rims its just that it doesnt fit the wheel well. These tires dont rub but i dont know how much larger i can go b4 i do. I planned to get 235/40's so they are a little wider since Les Schwab is retarded and they put 2 skinny of tires on it so it looks goofy. I plan to change the rims when i get a 5 lug setup, but for now i want it to at least look nice when these tires are gettin bald enough (dont ask me why). I dont know what spacers or wider rims will actually accomplish with this issue but maybe you could explain that. If i do go wider i will get the 18X9 but that will be a close call to rubbing.

Re: toss me some ideas

I run 255/40s, with a 1.75 drop. No issues at all with rubbing.

Silver,

Nice car, mate. I could see the back coming up a bit, but the front look perfect.

Ironic that the person bagging on fords owns a car that is notorious for being a pile of crap that breaks down all the damn time (and I know, I owned one), and had such a massive fault in the stock car that most of them had blown engines before they saw 100K miles, yet he says fords and crap? That's funny, good joke.
