Throttle rod for tri-power and kick down bracket
Does anyone know where I can purchase a throttle rod (firewall to #2 carb) on a '66 421 tri-power and a kick down bracket for a 400 turbo trans on the same car?
Thanks, JT |

Re: Throttle rod for tri-power and kick down bracket
Ames Performance and Performance Years have excellent coverage for the B-body Pontiac. They should have the throttle rod you're after.
The TH400 does not use a "kick down" lever and bracket. It uses an electric switch, attached to either the carb linkage or the throttle pedal, depending on year and application. Summit/Jeg's sell a conversion "kit" for the switch. |
