Re: GTECH pro

gtech pro? Never heard of it. Post some pictures or a link or something. It sounds like it's some kind of scam though.

I have a Gtech Pro Comp. (Discontinued Model, but with the flash upgrade its functionally the same as the RR model.)

It really does work, and has been accurate within a hundreth of a second (I've checked it at a track), but will tend to read you trap speed higher than at the track. This is because at tracks they measure your trap speed over the last 32ft of the track, while on the gtech it will measure your speed at the end of the run. I would say that its not worth it if you're buying it for the "time check" features alone. I also use it as a tach, shiftlight, and occasionally track my autocross runs.

I'd say its worth it if you're going to be using it for ALL of its features. I got mine off ebay for $120, so i'm a happy camper. If you're willing to buy one off of ebay, try to find an older "Competition Model" and download the update from gtech's website to flash it to the "RR" model. They're exactly the same thing (other than the colors) and you'll save yourself a lot of money by doing so.

Re: GTECH pro

ooohhhh yes, now I know what you're talking about, haha sorry my bad. Yeah my friend has one of those in his camaro, and he said pretty much the same thing. He uses it as a tach too, put also said the times were off, and I think his might have been a little more off than Signals.
