how to check engine light
Anybody know how to check an engine light without a scan tool? I liove in Canada and there is no Autozone to go to unfortunately. It's a '98 Camry 4 cyl. I would appreciate the help.

Trying to avoid the 1 hour labour cost ($85.00/hr) and time is of the essence. I am a Honda tech by day, cousin's car fixer by night. He is here from NYC and his light came on and he is worried. I'm trying to help him out as much as I can.

No way to get the codes in a '98 without a reader.
