95 Tercel dashboard clock

I got a clock today from the junkyard to put in my car. The four wires on the back of the clock ran into another set of wires and were taped, bundled, etc. so that we couldn't trace them to see where they went to. I was hoping to get the clock and all the wires but ended up cutting the wires. Are there any electrical wizards out there who know where exactly these four wires went to and how I can wire this clock so that it works in my car? Mine isn't pre-wired to where I can just plug the clock in. Thanks for any information!

In a rare episode of surprising thought, I finally figured out how to wire the clock. When I first got the clock from the junkyard, I held the positive wire to the positive battery terminal and the ground wire to the body. Nothing. I figured that I must've gotten a broken clock. But then I thought since there were four wires running from the clock that maybe they all had to be hooked up. Unfortunately, with no prewired harness, I had nothing to hook them up to. I thought about throwing away the clock but luckily held on to it because I remembered today that the stereo harness I bought for my new system had these four same connections on it: postive battery, ground, illumination, and ACC. So I dug out the clock, ran the wires and connected them to the corresponding ones on the stereo harness and the clock lit up when I turned the key! I'm rather happy with myself.
