turbo manifold problems
alright i'm trying to install my megan racing manifold on my sr20det, but when i get it in there a black box is in the way of the tubes... i'm not sure what the box is but i'm guessing for blow by. i wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and what they did... would it be fine to remove it and block off the hose? or just relocate it.... any info would be appreciated.
just to make clear the black box is on the back of the engine right above the last exhaust port. its connected to a small filter on the right of the engine |

That box is a Blow by trap. You can take the hose and hook it right to the Vacuum Tee on the Valve cover but you'll want to get an oil catch can for the hose that goes from the Tee to the intake.
Dont block off the hose unless you like using your dipstick as a projectile. |

Re: turbo manifold problems
lol, yeah bro, its like a oil catch can. just remove it, instal the T-manifold, then put it back. its just a clip on hose and the box comes off.
