Problems installing Ground Controls! Pics inside!!

Today I tried installing the Ground Controls on my 98 civic and had no luck.
I did get the skunk2 camber kit in within an hour, but after spending 4 hours on the drivers / front side with the GC's I gave up!

Below are pics of during the install and the problem I am having. I am starting to think that I was sent the wrong adapters. The shocks in the picture are Bilstein HD's and the GC's I ordered are suppose to be for the HD's. Take a look:

Let's get the first pic out the way. That is installed upside down? I'm 99.9999% it is. Just had to take a pic since I tried every possible way to install the GC's....

In the next picture I have the GC sleeve angled so you can see the adapter at the bottom. It's about 1/2" thick and will not slide pass the gold piece on the Bilstein's where the metal pipe stops.

Here is a top shot of that 1/2" thick ring I am talking about in the pic above:

Ok, in this next picture you can see just how the 1/2" adapter that is marked in green can only go that far down. But, I believe the adapter should slide down to where the blue arrow is on the Bilstein shock.

You can actually see in the instructions underneath the shock how the arrow is pointing to the shock all the way down to that little rest spot on the shock....

Below is a closer pic to show exactly how the GC was sitting. When some weight from the car was let onto the GC's that 1/2" piece popped right out and the spring was loose....

I did manage to get the skunk2 camber kit installed on both sides though:

This next pic is from the passengers side. I didn't even bother with the springs or shocks on this side, since I had all the problems on the drivers side...

Thanks for any input on this!!

I knew these pictures would come in handy sometime.

Well damn, I don't know how the coilovers are supposed to sit on those shocks, theres no perch!? But is that what those adapters you were talking about are supposed to do? I don't know if these pics will help, but this is what they look like completed on my car. I'm thinking you got the wrong ones man, or they arent going to work with them.

Sucks that you were looking forward to this all weekend, and its not working out. I've spent many hours wasted trying to get stuff to work on my car, only to get fed up. Check out my post on how I handled my indiglos.

I do have those perches

Just took them off in the pictures. I was thinking they came with the Neuspeed sport springs And the reason I was thinking that they came with the Neuspeed sports well look at the pic below of the shock. There is no perch:

OH $HIT!!! I can see now that I DO have the wrong adapters
In the pic they have the adapter sitting down over the shock!

But, as you can see in the picture I took it won't even slide over the body (yellow) part of the shock. ANd when I took the ring out it slid all the way down to the bottom and was loose on the shock.....

I believe in 2nd chances, but they better ship the $hit NEXT DAY AIR!!

I am about to post some pics I just took that shows exactly why they are the wrong adapters.....

Let me get them..............

In the first pic I have the 4 stake marks circled.
That side (with the marks) should actually be facing toward the ground / bottom of the sleeve.

In this next picture you can see that we are looking at the sleeve from the bottom. The ring goes just inside and sits on that little ledge that is marked in blue. You can even see the stake marks on the sleeve too.

My question is:

Are these even the right sleeves for the Bilstein? It's obvious that I have the wrong ring adapters. I guess if the adapters were the correct size I wouldn't have to worry about the actual sleeve and the excess space around the Bilstein. That is what the adapters are for, right?

What do you think? Ground Control just owes me the correct adapters?

Here is another pic I took just showing the size of the adapter:
