Keyless Entry 2001 Windstar

After purchasing my used van with only one spare key and no keyless entry, I've been trying to figure out how to get a keyless entry system installed. It seems as though my van is not 'equipped' for keyless entry. I've done the test of turning the ignition to the 'on' position and back to the 'off' position several times but nothing ever happens. Am I doomed to never have keyless entry and/or am I going to have to take it to the Ford dealership to have it installed?

Well there is one way around it...my 97 didn't have it either so for 99 bucks at Future Shop (Best Buy) I had a nice alarm system installed and it's also hooked up to my factory power locks.
